Corona: "Hugo Duro represents those values and DNA that we want for our team"

Valencia CF's sporting director talks contract renewal.
Valencia CF's sporting director Miguel Ángel Corona ran the rule over Hugo Duro's contract renewal through to June 30th 2028.
Contract renewal
"We are very happy and very proud of this contractual extension, this renewal for one of our forwards, who in his time here has also become very beloved by our fans. He represents, to a large extent, all those values that we want and the DNA we want for our team."

Trust
"He arrived three years ago, at the last minute in the transfer market, having barely played in the Primera División. Three years later, he already has more than a hundred games for the club and has become a very important player and very dear to us."
Squad
This extension gives him more stability, if that is possible, in the squad. Hugo's contract runs until 2028, as we continue the strategy of having contractual stability and peace of mind with our squad; not only for the immediate future but for the medium and long term as well.
